Alexandria Law Group respects the privacy and security of the individuals and businesses that use our services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information in connection with the Alexandria Law Group QuickBooks Integration, including information accessed through Intuit and QuickBooks Online after an authorized user connects a QuickBooks company account.
Information We Collect
When an authorized user connects QuickBooks Online, the app may access business and accounting information made available through the user’s Intuit authorization. Depending on the scopes granted and app configuration, this may include company profile information, customer and vendor records, invoices, payments, accounts, items or services, transaction metadata, and related accounting records. The app may also collect account administration information such as names, business contact details, login identifiers, connection status, authorization timestamps, audit logs, and support communications.
Alexandria Law Group does not intentionally collect health information, payment card numbers, consumer credit reports, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information through this integration unless such information is voluntarily entered by a user into QuickBooks or related records.
How We Use Information
We use information accessed through QuickBooks only for legitimate business purposes related to accounting, billing, reconciliation, reporting, matter administration, support, security, compliance, and improving the reliability of the integration. We process QuickBooks data only as reasonably necessary to provide the connected functionality requested by authorized users.
We do not sell QuickBooks data or personal information. We do not use QuickBooks data for unrelated advertising, profiling, or resale.
How We Share Information
Alexandria Law Group may share limited information with trusted service providers that help operate, host, secure, monitor, or support the app. These providers are expected to process information only for the services they provide and to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security protections. We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, protect rights and safety, respond to lawful requests, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including accounting, legal, compliance, audit, dispute-resolution, and security purposes. Authorized users may request disconnection of the QuickBooks integration. Upon disconnection, the app will stop using active QuickBooks access tokens and will stop retrieving new QuickBooks data unless the user reconnects.
Security
Alexandria Law Group uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards may include restricted access, secure authentication, encrypted transport, least-privilege access, audit logging, credential protection, and review of integration access.
Intuit and QuickBooks Authorization
The app connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit’s authorization process. Users control whether to connect, reconnect, or disconnect their QuickBooks company account. The app requests only the permissions needed for the integration’s intended business purpose. Intuit’s own terms and privacy practices also apply to the user’s relationship with Intuit and QuickBooks.
User Choices and Contact
Authorized users may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of information where applicable. Users may also disconnect QuickBooks through the app’s disconnect page or through their Intuit account settings. To make a privacy request, contact Alexandria Law Group using the contact options provided on our website.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
